Mark Chan

Mark Chan is the Managing Partner and the founder of H.M. CHAN & CO.

With over two decades of legal experience, Mark has a wealth of experience in corporate and capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings and secondary offerings in Hong Kong, public and private mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, reorganisations, private equity, and capital raisings. Mark’s clients include private and public companies, investment funds and private investors.

Mark has been named as a Stand Out Lawyer by Thomson Reuters in 2025 and a Leading Lawyer - Highly Regarded by IFLR1000 2024.

Prior to setting up H.M. CHAN & CO, Mark started the corporate practice in a newly established office in Hong Kong for an international law firm headquartered in the UK and worked at an international law firm’s Singapore and Hong Kong offices.

Mark is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong, Singapore and England and Wales.
